The Chapleau drive test centre, located in the Northern Ontario region and serving as a travel point from Sault Ste. Marie, provides road tests and knowledge tests for all licence classes. Knowledge tests are written exams that assess understanding of road rules and traffic signs. They consist of 40 multiple-choice questions based on official driver’s handbooks. A G1 practice test is available to help improve knowledge and prepare for obtaining a driver’s licence.
